8-year-old Boy in Coma After Being Struck by Stray Bullet

Eight-year-old Landyn Davis was playing video games in his home in Virginia Beach, Virginia, when a stray bullet came through the front of the house and struck him in the head. He was taken to the hospital and placed in a medically induced coma. Police are asking the public for assistance in their investigation, and created a portal where people can upload photos or videos. From the department’s news release, “[n]o amount of information is insignificant, and we encourage all with any knowledge of this crime to contact us.”
