Four-year-old Boy and Three-year-old Twins Injured After Finding Unsecured Guns
A four-year-old boy in Akron, Ohio is in serious condition after shooting himself with an unsecured gun. The incident remains under investigation as police try to determine what happened and how the boy gained access to the gun.
Three-year-old twins in Florence, South Carolina, were both hurt in an accidental shooting when one of the toddlers found a loaded gun. One of the twins was shot in the foot, the other in the thigh; neither injury is considered life-threatening. The twins were in the custody of Daquan Butler, who was charged with two counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.
