Two Kids Injured in Gun Accidents in the Same Texas County
In Kaufman County, Texas, a 15-year-old was target shooting when he accidentally shot himself in the face. He was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. It is unclear if he was being supervised at the time of the accident.
Early the next morning, a 19-year-old Kaufman County teenager was preparing to go hog hunting and was being picked up by a friend. While entering the friend’s pickup truck, the boy’s rifle discharged and struck him in the leg. He was also airlifted to the hospital.
