A 6-year old Cincinnati, Ohio child found a gun and shot himself while his mother slept. His mother, Darnasia McKinney, 26, was arrested and charged with felony child endangerment.

The boy was hospitalized.  No information about his condition is available.  It is unclear how the boy will be cared for upon release from the hospital.
