In Campbell County, Virginia, the driver of a car accidentally fired a handgun. The round passed through the door of his car and through the passenger door of a nearby vehicle hitting a woman in the back. She is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say they determined that the shooting was accidental, but charged the shooter with reckless handling of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
