    Two 14-year-old Boys Killed in Separate Gun Accidents

    In an apartment in Rock Hill, South Carolina, 14-year-old Braylen Jackson was accidentally shot and killed by a 15-year-old with a stolen gun. “The 15-year-old was manipulating and mishandling a firearm when the fatal shot was fired,” said a statement from police. The suspect stole the gun from a vehicle and faces multiple charges including, involuntary manslaughter, possession of a stolen gun, and possession of a handgun by someone under 18.

    And in Toledo, Ohio, 14-year-old Davion Boone was accidentally shot and killed by a 14-year-old friend. The boys had been playing video games, but then began playing around with a gun that discharged striking Davion. He died later at the hospital. The other boy was arrested and charged with reckless homicide.
