Two Children are Accidentally Shot By Others, and Two Men Accidentally Shoot Themselves

State police are looking for a man they believe accidentally shot a child in Jamestown, Pennsylvania. The child is in stable condition. The man fled after the incident, and officials say there is no ongoing threat to the public.

An 8-year-old boy and his mother were visiting relatives in Bridgeport, Connecticut, when a stray bullet grazed his ear while he was walking back from a convenience store. According to police, two people in separate cars were shooting at each other and the boy got caught in the middle. He is recovering in the hospital as police continue looking for the suspects. “Individuals who’d shoot randomly like this need to be off the streets, and we need to bring them to justice,” said the police chief.

Police answered a call in San Antonio, Texas, and found a man who had been shot in the leg. Witnesses originally told the officers that the shooter was still nearby, but the story eventually came out that the man had unintentionally shot himself. He was taken to the hospital in good condition as investigators continue to investigate.

And, Edward Joseph Roth, 79, a man in rural Alice, North Dakota, accidentally shot himself with a gun he was trying to put away. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His current condition is unknown.
