Five-year-old Girl Fatally Shot Inside Car

A five-year-old found a handgun in a vehicle in Greenville, Alabama, and fatally shot herself. Her parents were with her in the vehicle, and told police they had just arrived home and were sitting in the driveway when the child found the gun. They brought her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police are investigating, and waiting for autopsy results before making any determinations. So far no charges have been filed.
