Two More Hunting Accidents; One Man is Killed

In Marion County, Texas, 45-year-old hunter, Jose Ramirez, died from the accidental discharge of a firearm he was removing from a vehicle. The Texas Game Wardens is investigating to determine the circumstances of the incident. In a statement they expressed support for the Ramirez family during “this difficult time.” A GoFundMe page has been set up by Ramirez’s son to financially help the family “…stay on our feet as we grieve, adjust, and try to move forward in honor of the man who taught us the meaning of strength, love, and perseverance.”
And in a hunting accident in Smoaks, South Carolina, a woman was shot in the face and arm with buckshot. She was airlifted to the hospital, but no word on her current condition. There is an ongoing investigation into the shooting.
