Woman Killed by Accidental Discharge from Floor Above

On the second level of a home in Legato, Virginia, 30-year-old Jennifer Kim was shot and killed by an accidental discharge that came from the floor above hers. Richard Huynh, age 31, was placing his firearm in a gun box on the third floor of the home when it fired, sending a bullet through the floor striking Kim below. She was taken to the hospital where she later died. Huynh was arrested and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm in a builing.
