Woman is Accidentally Shot in the Foot
A 21-year-old woman was accidentally shot in the foot in a home in Salinas, California. During their investigation, officers searched the residence and found a firearm without a serial number that was personally manufactured. There were eight people in the home at the time of the shooting, and police determined that a 17-year-old male relative of the victim was the owner of the gun used. The circumstances of the shooting, and the condition of the victim were not reported. The 17-year-old was arrested on weapons charges including, felon in possession of a gun and being a juvenile in possession of a gun.
