Nine-year-old Killed, Shot By Younger Brother

A nine-year-old boy in Hearne, Texas, did not survive after he was accidentally shot in the head by his seven-year-old brother. The owner of the home where the shooting occurred kept the gun for protection. It is not clear if the homeowner was the brothers’ parent, or how the boys got the gun. Police continue to investigate.
