Two Men Accidentally Shoot Themselves
An off-duty police officer in Los Angeles, California, sustained a graze wound to his arm when a gun he was cleaning unintentionally discharged. The gun was his “personally owned firearm,” and no one else was injured. Police are investigating.
And in Lynchburg, Virginia, police determined that 23-year-old Bryan Cashwell accidentally shot himself in the leg. Cashwell initially claimed that someone shot him and had provided a description of the suspect. The investigation is continuing with charges pending.
