Five-year-old Girl Shot and Killed by Younger Brother

A five-year-old girl was shot and killed by her three-year-old brother in a home in Henderson, North Carolina. The girl’s grandmother, who was not present during the shooting, said five children lived in the home, and described her granddaughter as “a girlie girl.” “Her youngest brother got ahold of a gun that was not … locked up where it needed to be.” The gun was recovered, as police continue to investigate.
