Five-year-old Girl Killed by Stray Bullet

In Americus, Georgia, five-year-old Peyton Brielle Roberts was playing with other neighborhood children, when she was fatally struck by a stray bullet from a shooting nearby. The shooting also killed a 19-year-old male, and injured a third victim. Police charged 19-year-old Ricky Martin with felony murder, aggravated assault and aggravated battery. The investigation is ongoing.
