Two Injured in Unintentional Shootings

A seven-year-old girl was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, after being accidentally shot in a home in Ellisville, Mississippi. It appears that a gun held by a family member accidentally discharged. No further information has been reported.

While investigating multiple vehicle burglaries, police found a teen accidentally shot by another juvenile in a residence in Madison County, Alabama. The gun used was one of those reported stolen. After questioning, the teen gave police information leading to the recovery of the other stolen items. To discourage theft, the sheriff’s office reminds the public to keep their vehicles locked, with any valuables stored out of sight. They continue to investigate.
