Two People Injured in Gun Accidents

A mall in Dayton, Ohio, was placed on lockdown after a teenager mishandled a gun and accidentally shot themself. The suspect left before police arrived, and they are working to identify the teen who was shot. Police believe that he is one of a group of males that can be seen on security photos. They are asking the public to help with any information about the investigation.

And in a home in Gainesville, Georgia, a 22-year-old man was injured by the accidental discharge of a handgun. The victim and three other people were getting ready to go practice shooting. One of them disassembled their gun to clean it when it fired, striking the victim in the throat. He was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The gun was recovered, and no charges will be filed.
