Two People Injured in Gun Accidents

In Akron, Ohio, an eight-year-old boy was hospitalized in stable condition after being accidentally shot by another child. Police determined that the unsecured gun the child was handling when it fired was legally owned by their father. They continue to investigate.

And outside a strip mall in National City, California, police determined that a 31-year-old shooting victim accidentally shot himself with a gun that was likely in his pocket or waistband. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Investigators will decide if any charges will be filed.
