Woman Injured in Shootout Following Car Crash

A 19-year-old woman was struck by stray bullets during a shootout following a car crash involving a white van and a gray car in Chicago, Illinois. Three men in the van got out and started shooting at the car. The two vehicles also crashed into an Uber driver who was a witness to the accident. “The white van hit the gray car and then hit me. Once that happened, they just started shooting. It was total chaos,” said the Uber driver. The woman was walking on the sidewalk and was hit in the right shoulder and torso. Her condition was not reported and currently no one is in custody.
