17-year-old Boy Shot as Innocent Bystander During Birthday Party

A 17-year-old boy was unintentionally shot in the foot during a gunfight that broke out in the parking lot of a church and event center in Fort Worth, Texas. The teen was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The event center was hosting a 16th birthday party that was mostly attended by teenagers. Towards the end of the party, a dispute broke out between at least two people, and someone got a gun from their car and started shooting. Police believe that the 17-year-old was an innocent victim, and after talking to witnesses, expect to make an arrest soon.
