Accidental Shootings in Mississippi Leave Three People Dead
There were three accidental shootings in Mississippi today that resulted in death. Two were hunting accidents.
Marcus Lowe Jr., a 19-year-old from Columbia, Mississippi was pronounced dead at the hospital after being shot in the torso in what is believed to be an accidental shooting. Though no details about the incident have been reported, Lowe’s 18-year-old sister, Myi’Anna Bridges, was charged with culpable negligence manslaughter. Police continue to investigate.
In Carroll County, Mississippi, Hayden Bonta, 17, was killed in a hunting accident. Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
And in Smith County, Mississippi, first responders found Eric Tindell, 41 with a fatal gunshot wound sustained while hunting. The sheriff’s department will assist the department of wildlife fisheries and parks in the investigation.
