Corrections Officer Accidentally Shot During Target Practice

A corrections officer was accidentally shot in the leg in a prison in Beacon, New York. The 45-year-old officer was wounded during target practice at the weapons firing range, and was treated by responding EMS personnel. It’s not clear who fired the round, and no other details have been reported.
