Another Three-year-old Child Dies After Finding a Loaded Gun

Kayden Goldman With His Sister

Three-year-old Kayden Goldman, of Birmingham, Alabama, found a loaded gun when a parent left him momentarily unsupervised and used it to shoot and kill himself. Kayden’s mother said, “Kayden was a bright boy. He was so full of energy. He loved to dance and watch different things about dinosaurs. He adored his sister and would always tell people ‘that’s our baby.’ He was an excellent child; always told me he loved me, and always would refer to his sister as a “princess.” To know him was to love him. He was an amazing person.”

“That’s true love, you won’t find true love until you have your kids; ain’t nobody love you like your kids,” a neighbor added.

Just yesterday, a South Carolina three-year-old also found a loaded gun at home and shot and killed himself.
