Father of Five Unintentionally Shot and Killed in Texas Park

In Beaumont, Texas, Tyrone Horace, age 50, was killed and another man was critically injured when gunfire broke out in a local park.  According to police, two groups of youths were arguing and began firing at each other. However, it appears that only the two bystanders were struck. Family members said that Horace, the father of five, was attending what should have been a peaceful event at the park.  

The mother of Horace’s five children said that someone needs to be held accountable. “We have to go on with a good person who won’t be here with us. He has kids. Somebody please step up and say something. Do something. Y’all don’t just let this go by.  We need closure on this matter. Just help us out.”
