Three People Hurt in Gun Accidents, Including Two Children

A Fort Bend County, Texas 11-year-old is in the hospital in unknown condition after accidentally shooting himself in the head today. Sheriff’s deputies said they think the shooting happened in the garage of a local home while no one was watching the child.

In Quinlan, Texas, a man opened fire after being asked to leave a party. He apparently fired into the air but was hurt when he attempted to put the gun back into his pocket. The gun fired and struck him in the leg.

 And a  3-year-old in Federal Way, Washington was grazed by a bullet. Officers discovered the bullet came through the ceiling of the boy’s apartment from the unit above.  They indicated that a person is likely to be charged in connection with the incident.
