Michael Ben Mendoza, of Gastonville, North Carolina, age 4, died today after he and a sibling found a loaded gun in their home. Michael’s parents, Savannah Leigh Brehm, 22, and Hector Manuel Mendoza, 22, as well as another relative, Keith Deshawn Sturghill, 19, were booked on charges of felony involuntary manslaughter, felony child abuse and a misdemeanor charge of storing a firearm in a manner accessible to a minor.
