Shayma Roman, a Brooklyn, New York teenager was struck by two bullets when a group of young men opened fire on the street, apparently aiming at someone else. Shayma died in her sister’s arms. No arrests have been made.

“You took a child!,” said her stepfather. “You took a granddaughter! You took a sister! …. She was sweet, loving, caring, feisty. Tell it like it is.”
