In Ruskin, Florida, a 17-year old brought a gun to high school in his car. When his friend, a former student, found the gun, he accidentally shot himself, but was then able to drive himself to the hospital. The 17-year old was arrested and charged with possession of a gun on school property.
The school was placed on lockdown after the incident.
