A 14-year old Decatur, Illinois boy was accidentally shot in the neck while at home with a 15-year old and an 8-year old. Several adults were also present.  The boy’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.  Despite identifying the incident as accidental and having a variety of likely witnesses, police have not yet described how the incident occurred or how the boy obtained a gun.
