Two gun accidents were reported exclusively on Twitter today, making one wonder, once again, how many gun accident injuries are never made public at all.

A tweeter apparently monitoring a police scanner reported that a Chicago, Illinois “security officer” apparently accidentally discharged his gun and shot himself in the leg.  And, in Laurel, Maryland, a tweeter reported that a man was injured by a round fired while he was cleaning his gun.
