The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating a gun accident in which off-duty border agent Stevan Djordjevic shot and killed a relative who was visiting his home. The victim, Jacob Sellors, age 26, was visiting Sierra Vista, Arizona from out of town and was found on a bedroom floor in Djordjevic’s home with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The circumstances of the accident have not been reported. The incident was the second fatal shooting involving a border guard this month.
