A Houston, Texas woman is in critical condition after her boyfriend unintentionally shot her in the neck.  He was playing with a gun that he did not know was loaded when it went off.  No report on whether the gun had a loaded chamber indicator.

At the Seventh Day Adventist Headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, a security guard accidentally shot himself in the leg while attempting to load his gun.  No other details have been reported.
