A Reno, Nevada 16-year old was arrested and charged after accidentally shooting a 10-year old boy.  The 16-year old admitted that he fired the gun at the boy’s older cousin and that he hit the ten-year old by accident.   The victim’s cousin had apparently insulted the 16-year old on social media, after which the shooter drove across town and fired the shot which struck the younger boy.

The victim has life threatening injuries, but has been stabilized at the hospital.  The shooter has been charged as a juvenile with battery with a deadly weapon.
