A ten-year old innocent bystander was one of three people injured when gang-related gun violence broke out on the day after Thanksgiving at a crowded Durham, North Carolina mall. His injuries are not considered life threatening. The shooting led to a mass evacuation, but no suspects were arrested.
The shooting was one of two triple shootings in Durham today. The Durham police chief said that “[s]hootings in this city have got to stop. Gotta stop. It’s got to stop.”
