SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2021

In Ann Arbor, Michigan, a 16-month old child was shot in the head by a sibling, but is expected to survive. “He is breathing on his own,” his grandmother told a local news station.

There were four children at home at the time of the accident.  The victim was the youngest and the oldest was age 11.  Police have concluded that the children found a loaded and unsecured handgun.  They are looking for an adult who they believe removed the gun from the scene after the accident occurred. That person is not a suspect in the shooting itself.
