A Louisville, Kentucky police officer who was cleaning his service weapon in the property room at the station accidentally shot himself in the stomach.  He is recovering at the hospital according to the report.

Query whether the officer’s gun was a Glock or a similar pistol that requires a trigger pull as part of the cleaning protocol.
