In Houston, Texas, a gunshot struck and injured a six-year old boy inside his home, according to the Houston sheriff. He is in stable condition at the hospital.
“They’re just shooting for fun,” said a neighbor. “That’s amazing to me, because they’re shooting to these houses. As a mother, it broke my heart … because someone who doesn’t have respect for human life for no reason. This has to stop.”
“It’s unfortunate people think they can just park in that area and shoot a firearm in the direction towards the houses,” a sheriff’s deputy said. “I think people need to use common sense when using firearms. Never point or shoot it at the direction of a home. There are ranges you can go to. You don’t shoot them in neighborhoods.”
