After investigating, police determined that a man found shot on the street in South Sioux City, Iowa had accidentally shot himself.  The man had been taken by two good Samaritans to a local hospital. He is not facing charges.  Nor will the unidentified man pay, apparently, for the various police and health care resources triggered by his accident.
