Aerial Katelynn Brazzell of Hamilton, Ohio was arrested for reckless homicide after accidentally shooting and killing a 16-year old boy at her home.  Brazzell, who is 21, was playing with a firearm when she pointed it at the victim, Bennie Boggs, Jr.  The gun went off and Boggs is dead.

Boggs ‘”liked to be a funny person and he liked to hunt and was very considerate and helpful to older people,” his grandmother said. “He was lots of fun to be around.”  He was planning to join the army.

“You just can’t stress it enough where we tell young kids, we tell our own children, how serious guns are and not to play with guns,” a Hamilton police officer said. “It happens often. We just have to keep educating our young adults, and a gun’s a gun.”

  1. Please enter all facts , the child was a 16 yr old drug dealer. Xanax was his product. He sold Xanax to the group, they( 4-5 individuals) took turns pointing the gun and dry firing it, because it had a laser sight on it and they were all drunk and high. The gun was empty at the time. Aerial left the room and when she came back she picked up the gun and pointed it . she didnt know that it had been loaded.
He supplied the tool that lead to his death. Yet her was under age, who bought him the gun?

    1. I can only report what I can see in published news reports, so thank you for sharing about this incident. I agree that if the gun was his, it is important to know how he got it. It’s certainly a sad and tragic story for everyone involved.
