In a story made more complicated because two witnesses initially lied to police, Devin Black, a resident of Powell, Tennessee, was accidentally killed by a gunshot wound to the head. Two witnesses initially told police that Black had been killed by a “black man in a hoodie” who then ran away.  In a search, Police found no signs of any such suspect.

The two witnesses then admitted they had lied and that black had shot himself in the head while playing with the gun.  Both were arrested and are being held on a charge of making false reports to police.
