The September 18, 2020 victim, Jermaine, was my fiancé and the father to my son. I didn’t know this journal existed until almost 10 months after his death and I just want to say thank you for keeping his memory alive. A careless mistake with a deadly weapon took my whole world from me and a father from ever getting the chance to meet his son. I don’t want anyone else to ever experience the pain I feel. The “right to bear arms” doesn’t feel worth the life of your best friend and your child’s father. I am happy someone is shedding light on that.
