In Lorain, Ohio, Edward Suggs was struck and killed by a stray bullet while on the front porch of a local home. Several members of the Sophisticated Gents Motorcycle Club were gathered on the porch when they heard gunshots down the street. Mr. Suggs was attempting to get off the porch by entering the home when he was struck. He collapsed in a pool of blood and could not be revived.
Neighbors say that the neighborhood is “normally very quiet.”
Mr. Suggs had 11 siblings and 13 children. “He could tell you a joke and have you in stitches,” his sister said at a vigil in his honor. “If you were sad, upset, all you had to do was come by and talk to Ed, get a phone call from him, and he’d make you feel better.”
