A 14-year old St. George, Utah girl was shot and killed today during a gathering with other teenagers.  According to an affidavit, the suspect, Anthony Vega, an 18-year old, was playing with [a] handgun, pointing it at several individuals while pulling the trigger. A juvenile witness also admitted that the individuals at the home, including Anthony, were smoking marijuana prior to the incident …”

Vega was arrested and charged with murder. He is being held at Purgatory Correctional Facility.
