Two Tennessee teens were unintentionally shot this weekend. One is dead and the other is recovering at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
In Memphis, 16-year old Jordan Milan was shot and killed by his 17-year old friend, who was playing with a gun. The 17-year old, who was not identified by police, was arrested and charged with reckless homicide. According to a family friend, Jordan was a good kid and a good student who did well at school. “Typical Day… Mom leaving home. Both of her boys were at home. So, how? Safest place we could be right?” the friend said.
A 13-year old Nashville boy was also shot by another teenager playing with a gun. The police believe that the shooting was accidental, but did not say whether they intend to press charges. The Nashville boy is recovering at the hospital.
