Three Children Killed in Gun Accidents, Including a 4-year-old

Few details have been reported in the accidental shooting death of 4-year-old Zacarion Depp in Louisville, Kentucky. Police continue to investigate the shooting. His mother lamented her son’s death. “My baby was a good baby. My baby had a good heart…I’m not supposed to bury my child.”

In two other incidents, children were killed while playing around with guns.

Two 14-year-old boys were playing with a gun in Magee, Mississippi, when it accidentally fired, fatally striking Mitchell Page. No other information was reported. The case will be reviewed by the district attorney’s office according to the police department’s Facebook page.

And 13-year-old George Harris Jr., was playing video games with several other children in the room of a Miami Gardens, Florida home. They were also playing with a firearm they found. The gun unintentionally fired, killing Harris with a single gunshot to the back of his head. There was an adult in the home at the time, but police say it’s unclear if any charges will be filed.
