At least six people were killed or injured in separate gun accidents today, three of them children, the others young adults.

In Pittsburg, California, a 15-year-old was shot and killed by another 15-year-old, apparently unintentionally.  The shooter was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter. However, minimal details have been released.

In Grand Rapids, Michigan, an 18-year-old woman unintentionally shot and killed herself. However, no details have been released.

In Lucerne, Missouri, Jesse Miller, age 20, accidentally shot and killed himself while attempting to unload a handgun. Several family members were present at the time of his death.

Loveson Ambrose of Lantana, Florida, age 24, was killed inside his home by a stray bullet fired in “a rolling gun battle” outside.  The shooters involved were apparently shooting at each other from cars. He was sitting on his bed when he was shot in an apartment he shared with his girlfriend and baby daughter.

And two children, one a five-year-old  in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the other a child living in Prince George County, Maryland, both shot and injured themselves with guns they found in their homes. Few details have been reported.
