In Houston, Texas, a gunshot struck and injured a six-year old boy inside his home, according to the Houston sheriff. He is in stable condition at the hospital.

"They're just shooting for fun," said a neighbor. "That's amazing to me, because they're shooting to these houses. As a mother, it broke my heart ... because someone who doesn't have respect for human life for no reason. This has to stop."

"It's unfortunate people think they can just park in that area and shoot a firearm in the direction towards the houses," a sheriff’s deputy said. "I think people need to use common sense when using firearms. Never point or shoot it at the direction of a home. There are ranges you can go to. You don't shoot them in neighborhoods."
