Two Children Accidentally Shot, Ten-year-old is Killed

In Anderson, South Carolina, ten-year-old Dahillian M. Patel, who just started fifth grade last week, was accidentally shot in the head and later died at the hospital. “The sheriff’s department is still trying to determine how the gun was fired and who fired the gun. There were three people in the house the victim, his younger brother and the grandfather,” said the coroner. After investigating, Police have announced that no charges will be filed.

Also, a two-year-old boy was accidentally shot in Stockton, California. He is recovering at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The mayor called the shooting devastating. “My heart breaks for the family. Something like that should never happen.” Few details have been reported, but there is an ongoing investigation.
