Three-year-old Critically Injured After Shooting Himself With Uncle’s Gun

A three-year-old boy inside a home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, accidentally shot himself in the head with his 17-year-old uncle’s gun. The boy is listed in critical condition at the hospital. People in the home, including teenagers, provided conflicting stories when interviewed. Police were unable to recover the gun used, only a magazine was found. The boy’s uncle had a prior weapons charge, and was additionally charged with recklessly endangering another person, tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice. Officials hope to locate the gun used, as they continue to investigate.
