Two Children Killed in Separate Accidental Shootings

Six-year-old Lascelle Lee IV, fatally shot himself in the face in a townhome in Montgomery Village, Maryland. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. One adult was home with the boy at the time, and the gun used was legally registered. The circumstances of the shooting are unclear, including how Lascelle accessed the gun. Police continue to investigate.

And an eight-year-old girl is dead after an accidental shooting in Clairfield, Tennessee. The circumstances of the shooting are being investigated, so no other information was reported. The local elementary school the girl attended only had about 70 students. The principal said that everyone at the school was heartbroken.
